MJP3
Although not tipped to last the whole season, Messrs Pride, Hope and Optimism, have come through Pre Season relatively unscathed, after a few knocks and niggles. (Or at least in my world they have.)
BCFCGav
So as things stand (to my knowledge, happy to be corrected): Baker: Short-term knock. Contender for Exeter. Walsh: See Baker. Joe Williams: ‘Up to’ 12 weeks according to Gregor. So November or before.

Nogbad the Bad
Update: Baker, hamstring, likely to be out until the New Year. Walsh & Williams, 'nearly back on the grass'. O'Dowda, 'continuing to make positive recovery from a groin strain'. Morrell, calf injury picked up on international duty causing him to miss (at least) the Coventry and Northampton games; no news on seriousness. Dasilva, shin, to see specialist in London this week. 2 weeks into the season, 6 out!! As far as I can see no firm indication of when any of them will be fit for selection. Mr Popodopolous
Isn't Kalas out too? Add him! Can't recall his cause of injury.

Now saying out for 1 or 2 months and that Dasilva, Walsh and Williams could be back training in a few weeks. No mention of Morrell who seems to have become the forgotten man He describes all this as good news!
maxjak
The last thing we heard regarding injuries to two of our most important players, was that they will be having scans. So seeing as Kalas and Dasilva apparently had scans last Friday....it would be good if the club could keep loyal supporters up to date? If there is no news, fair enough, but they could also let us know if that's the case.
Lew-T
Still all pretty vague on injury front... DH on injuries Tomas Kalas Was on the grass this morning, doing some running just to maintain his fitness levels. That’s a funny on in terms of timescale. It’s more about his movement and his pain. Hopefully in the next few days he’s pain-free and we can push him on. When you go for a scan or x-ray you’re preparing for the worst in a way. But it was good news that he had not dislocated it. There is some ligament damage in there so we’ve just got to be guided by how Tomas is feeling and make sure he gets full power. With the way he plays having that shoulder nice and secure is really important. Jay Dasilva We’ll see with Jay. He was back out on the grass doing a bit of a warm-up today, but fingers crossed that he’ll be back pretty soon. Liam Walsh Walshy is waiting on a scan. He’s got a scan tonight. He’s still got this quad issue from post-covid. Hopefully we’ll get a bit of good news from that scan and we can push him on. Joe Williams Joe’s back on the grass. Not with the group, but back with Callum O’Dowda ddoing a bit of work with Procs the physio, which was good to see. We want these guys back as quick as we can but we ant them to come back and stay fit as well. Joe Morrell He’s got a calf strain. We’re not quite sure on his timescale with that one. Callum O’Dowda Moving in the right direction. He was out with Joe Williams this morning, together with Procs [Andrew Proctor, physio] Nathan Baker Yep, out until Christmas
Busterrimes
In the new YouTube training video. Jay DaSilva can be seen doing fitness work but not contact work. Hopegully promising signs.

Update of above & additions: O'Dowda & DaSilva back in matchday squad & playing. Morrell sold to Luton, fit enough for them & Wales apparently. Baker, hamstring, likely to be out until the New Year. Walsh, Looks like at least another month. Will not be fit for selection until after the next international break (Derby (H) Nov. 21st at the earliest?) Williams, ditto Walsh. Mawson, stretchered off v Middlesbro' 20/10. No news on likely time on the sidelines yet, but looked ominous. Weimann, injured v Swansea 24/10. No news on seriousness yet. Sessegnon, stretchered off v. Swansea 24/10. No news on seriousness yet. 3 further likely long term injuries, back to 6 out in total including 5 probable starters, and chances are we'll have to do without them all for some considerable time. Should be more clarity on the state of play (more likely confirmation of a state of extended inactivity) of Mawson, Weimann & Seesegnon next week. GrahamC
So Weimann out for the season, only an optimist would expect to see Mawson in a City shirt again & Sessegnon out until possibly January. Baker is still meant to be back in December (presumably training, not playing). Williams & Walsh, who knows? The latter seems to have been “a couple of weeks away” for ages now.. Mr Popodopolous
Yeah there will be a lot more injuries- wasn't aware of the specifics of muscles but makes sense I guess- quick turnaround in season, similar intensity of games- arguably not had a proper pre season- still doesn't account for our injuries in 2017/18 and 2019/20 in particular even prior to this- can't remember but was 2018/19 relatively injury free? Admin phantom Posted November 3, 2020 Author Admin Report Share Posted November 3, 2020 Another odd thing with our injuries over this and past seasons They seem to always come in either home games or during training. I guess there must have been, but I can't recall any coming away from Bristol

View from the Dolman
Is that him? His Instagram story (https://www.instagram.com/liamwalsh6/) seemed to suggest he was watching from home (strangely on what appears to be Huddersfield's iFollow rather than Robins TV) and it looks like that guy has the initials LT on his leg.
