CotswoldRed
Who remembers the halcyon days when a football injury typically meant just a few weeks out? Most of our injuries afford enough time to conceive, draft and rewrite an entire novel or two.

Mr Popodopolous
Full list of the injured and their time out- Mods feel free to merge my thread on it or delete it. Baker- 22 games? Williams- 22 games Walsh- 22 games Mawson- 16 games Sessegnon- 15 games Weimann- 15 games DaSilva- 11 games maybe? I know he wasn't picked/was a sub for some! Paterson- 8 games O'Dowda- 3 games and 1 game in separate spells. Bakinson- 4 games (Covid). Brunt- 4 games. Kalas- 3 games. Diedhiou- 1 game. (Covid). This is to date- some of the above also includes those out for Covid. I'm going to hazard a guess that we are near the top of one League table at least. We literally have had an average of between 6 or 7 players out per matchday inclusive of injuries and Covid- up to and including Luton away at least! Not including Cup games in my calculations. Not over a given period but for the entire ******* season.

City1984
Just mentioned in the transfer forum that I am expecting a left back / left wing back to be brought in either on loan or perm. this got me thinking about our current situation in that area of the pitch a bit more and wondering on few things. 1. When is JD due back from injury? 2.When is RS due back from injury? 3.Can RS cover the left hand side? 4.Surely the imminent return of NB is not seen as appropriate solution to this potential problem. I think TR has been excellent while filling in for us there, but can he sustain his level of work rate and performance for the rest of the season? Not to mention the risk of the BCFC injury curse catching him. Am I missing any options or worrying about the potential issue at left back unnecessarily? Do people think we are ok there, or do we need someone to come in?

Mr Popodopolous
Sessegnon, Paterson and Williams on the way back then? Great news about Williams in particular, sounds like he's the most advanced of the 3. It's crucial we don't rush them back though, get them back right not too quick. Mr Popodopolous
Assume it's unlikely then- and yeah it is unbelievable our run of injuries, and medium to long term ones at that- or recurring ones, that anyone will be back for Wednesday? Really for the purposes of @Mr Popodopolous's list, i.e. 2 games missed up to and including that one. 'Bad back', eh? Not good. Had one myself, they can take a very long time to clear up.
