Come to think of it I would like to ask the players (past and present), and I don't think LJ was every really grilled about it by the media/Twentyman etc. I know it's been done to death prior to LJ going, but I just can't get my head round it. Every manager/player/person who does a job has good and bad spells, but the extreme nature of these runs for a manager, and it happened regularly over a 5/6 year period (if you include Barnsley) and the high number of players that were involved in these streaks, makes LJ totally unique, and eventually cost him his job. So my question to Dean would be, "Will you use LJ speak such as "I will only pick players I can trust?"?" I would also ask if the above question is good use of punctuation.
