Phileas Fogg
Not a surprise after the Glenn Murray news. It’s clear we’re after senior players - and going from these rumours a hold up style forward. Would be a good addition.
Dolman_Stand
Yes please, exactly the sort of striker we have needed since Djuric left
AshtonRobin21
I mentioned Chris Martin at the start of the window. Exactly the type of striker we need. Physical presence, holds the ball up well and also very good at flicking it on (watch his Derby highlights). He will chip in with a few goals as well. Would be a strong 4 options up top for us in Wells, Fam, Weimann and Martin.
Fpcity
Probably be people unhappy with this type of signing but I'd be pleased, just what we need. An older head in midfield as well would be good
Kingswoodactor
65 goals in 186 appearances for Derby, 31 isn't that old, and can put himself about. Interestingly he's 5'10''??? Thought he was 6ft plus!!!

JoeAman08
I have a feeling Fam and City aren’t getting closer with a deal. I know we are a bit light on the striker front if Fam stays but not light enough to spend 12-15k a week on another one even if free. Imo of course. Also he doesn’t really fit a press either so if we wanted more energy up top doesn’t make sense to me either
Finley_Smith10
Top goalscorer for Derby last season on a free, no brainer, need a player to hold up the play as well, would be a very good signing
Lew-T
Would indicate Fam is off?

Martin is a good player & knows all the tricks, but boy is he slow, those around him will have to cover a lot of ground. On that note will of course know Weimann well from his days at Derby. And Pato I'm happy with this. We need another striker whether Fam stays or not. Proper, old school centre forward. Always got time for one of those in the squad Some exciting (on paper) signings being linked at the moment. Good signs
