Who’s going to take no.5

Would guess that is kept back for a CB signing.

Couple of observations, no squad number for Gilmartin at all & if Adelakun drops down any further he’ll be off the page..

Plenty of numbers (24, 27 onwards) for any further signings..

Walsh at 8 is also quite telling as well!

Morrell at 16, is also going to be in and around the team a lot.

No number 5 would suggest another centreback on the horizon.

He’s got a worse record than Baker who he makes look like iron man !!

Harsh....

....but fair.  I never wanted to go off.  Played at Ilminster with a half-torn ACL (did you play).  Didn’t help matters!!

Speaking to someone this week, Holden definitely sees Walsh firmly in his plans.

Yeh anyone getting a number below 18 is likely going to be in the first XI squad fairly regularly. Some obviously have attachments to higher numbers, Palmer for some reason wants 45, Kalas obviously has a thing for 22 and Moore seems to like 23 (23 is a famous number in many sports).

Argh why is Martin number 7?!

Yeh, if this was FM I'd be handing Pato the 7, Wells 10, and Martin should then have 21 IMO.

Jojo getting 13 - staying as third choice keeper then? Maenpaa with no number, did I miss him officially being released?

Now that is good news.

Let's hope DH's plans for Walsh are not thwarted by injury and he can include him asap.

Maenpaa training with the club as we have a duty of care until he's fully recovered from injury etc as he was injured with us when his contract expired I believe.
