So I will assume Palmer, Eliasson and Szmodics will be sold/loaned out.

Weimann is seen as a box to box midfielder as much as a forward by Holden it seems. He's been picked as a box to box midfielder in all 6 of Holden's competitive games now.

Bakinson surely going to be loaned out.

Brunt seems like he could be coming here.

Adding all the midfielders up, it will still be too many even if those 4 leave!

Whoever is least fancied out of those midfielders, they are unlikely to play much at all unless Holden rotates it loads.

Szmodics looks likely, the other two we will have to wait and see.

Whoever is least fancied out of those midfielders we are left with (even after those 4 leave), they are unlikely to play much at all unless Holden rotates it loads.

Szmodics and Eliasson will be gone I think. Bakinson and Palmer loans maybe?

Not sure Weimann is seen as the future there, could just be there as all our midfielders are crocked or on international duty.

Nice little interlude to allow Steve Lansdown to stick two fingers up at the critics there

Thought that clip seemed odd, came across as a bitter old fart. Reeling off what he’s spent on x  &  y

He’s usually far more eloquent.

Was looking forward to seeing Bakinson, but more excited to see Massengo now he’s been picked.

Yeah me too. Big game for Massengo. A chance to make his mark when his position is going to be very hard to hold down. He needs an 8/10 performance today to remind Holden that he's in the mix.

Likewise, if Bakinson gets on he needs a big impact.

Is this the team that held West Brom then? Interesting!
