It’s a long season. There’s obviously logic to the team selection. Dean pretty much confirmed that none of the new signings would be ready.

Out of all the midfielders we have why do we persist in playing weimann there. No KP in the squad... He’s clearly off then

Amazed by the bench, expected one of Morrell or Nagy to be involved & Palmer’s omission suggests he is one who can move on, particularly as Williams, Walsh & O’Dowda are injured & 2 others not picked.

Although dasilva is a big miss, I do think that Rowe is enough as a replacement , less pace but still good defensively

Holden did reveal on 'sound of the city' that Palmer had text him asking for a chat. Based on the today's selection, I'm going to assume that conversation was centered around Palmer leaving. 

Disappointed not to see Morrell involved. I would have thought his 2 x 90 mins for Wales would have put him near the top of the squad list in terms of fitness levels. 

Hope Dasilva is just a knock and has been left out as a precaution.
