You’d actually want money for him?

I’d say we tear up his contract, what’s he ever done for us?

on tonight's performance, he's worth naff all. Looks scared he will get hurt.

Very poor but he's not the only one.

We are seeing Premier League quality, plus strength and speed of thought.

But Villa are very open too.

Some of the criticism of our players on here is disappointing to see.  Why does there have to blame?

It was Weimann on Sunday

Palmer has been absolutely pathetic so far

Strolling around and doing the odd occasional sprint.

Rowe and Moore looked dodgy and with Palmer in front of Rowe playing so badly. It's a big problem.

On the other side Nagy bright and always on his toes, working hard. Sessegnon looks really good too. Semenyo been on the right a few times and been our best player.

Villa do look superb though. Davis, what a player he is.

Villa started strongly, clearly better than us, and now pretty much gone in to cruise control. Accepting that, still thought we would and should get closer to them.

I suppose you learn things about players when things not going well. Rowe not a CB, Palmer just not on it today, side cobbled together and looks it.

Biggest concern to me is we need to be bigger and stronger.

Mickey Mouse cup anyway (when you lose...)

Just the handful of times Palmer/Moore have passed the ball to opponents (in critical positions) with no real pressure on them is frustrating.

Found it amusing that Villa's 19 is Marvelous Nakamba. Wonder if he has a brother called Pisspoor Nakamba???

Pisspoor Palmer? Might be a distant relative? ;)

No joke, my cat  just came in, moaned, looked at the tele and shot back out! 😂😂

Did his job, Fam didn't do his. Should be 1-2

My tongue was firmly in my cheek.

He’s definitely someone we need to utilise more, Martin will have a field day with his left foot

Palmer plays a game and a half in 6 months and OTIB can confirm he isn't good enough

Ridiculous isn't it. I'd say the only players to come out of that half in credit are the keeper, Vyner, Sess and Semenyo.

Villa have targeted Rowe/Eliasson just as any competent manager would upon seeing our line up. We have absolutely no bite in midfield, spending too much time admiring them at the moment.

Everything wrong about him we're seeing tonight.

Week on the ball, poor movement hiding from passes

Summed up when he fouled Lansbury, he stopped to check he was alright as the Villa player waltzed on past him.

Playing like one of Lee Johnsons sides.

Let's hope we see a Dean Holden side in the second half. At the moment our spine is too soft and needs correcting.

Yep, should have done better https://streamja.com/1jJZO

Ta, missed that, someone came to the front door.

Some of the passes he's received have not done him any favours.

I think he's been ok and I'd expect a bit more second half.

Yep, hospital passes.  That’s the speed of thought of Prem players too.

I suspect Villa have another gear, but would be interesting if we get the next goal.

Elliasson is gash - still plays like a little boy in a man’s game. He’s a one trick pony & even that isn’t a touch on good old Alan Walsh. Just ship him out ASAP if he doesn’t want to be here any more.

Had some good possession for a spell there but couldn't t3st the keeper, Diedhou should have done better with his chance, not seen the goal yet but Traore looking good and showing KP how to be a good midfielder so far. Hopefully can do more in the 2nd half!
