You can’t wait to pounce on any error he makes.

I said I'd bring him off as he's playing poorly and has not worked like Nagy has the other side.

Many others say the same. If he played well or at least ok then i wouldn't say it.

We were told not to get carried away with Palmer doing bits against Northampton, because they’re a league below us. But people get carried away with him doing poorly against a premier league side. 😂

Holden/The Board maybe need to rethink their stance on not needing a CB now. If Mawson gets injured we could be in trouble.

Does the level of opposition make it harder to close down quickly and keep track of your man, not allowing him to breeze past you so he’s free in the box? I would say no.  So not sure why Palmer is performing so lazily off the ball tonight

It would've been given in the Premier League, but there you go.

It would after VAR, and it would have been a nonsense decision (even though I shouted handball in my flat when it happened).

It wasn’t a penalty.

Adam Nagy couldn’t trap a bag of cement.

The whole team look bereft of confidence tonight, not much coming off for anyone. Really wish we could stop singling out individuals when the reality is most have been completely overwhelmed by the opposition in terms of class and tactics.

We have played alright second half.

People will say the third was too easy, but we were 2 down in a cup game.

Losing 3-0 instead of 2-0 makes no difference and we needed a goal to get back into the game.

We were completely pushed forward to try and get through but caught on a decent counter attack.

Palmer:

  • 86% pass success
  • 4 tackles won
  • 3/4 successful dribbles

Nagy

  • 83% pass success
  • 0 tackles won
  • 0 dribbles

Both dispossessed twice.

I'm not saying he's had a good game, but he is playing no worse than anyone else in the team and is at least getting on the ball and trying to make things happen. If that hand ball was given it would be a totally different story.

Ok... here’s another... sessegnon’s dribble completion rate tonight is 0%.

Oh well, you lose some and you lose some.

Eh?

I'm not one of the terminally negative on here.

We've actually been alright second half and Bakinson has looked good again.

That doesn't change the fact that it wasnt a penalty.
