There's quite a few runners in the team. Eliasson, Sessegnon, Nagy. Semenyo looks full of energy atm. Maybe Diedhiou will be running about more!

And with Brunt there, Kasey can't really drop into that 4 role as Brunt should be yelling at him to get up the pitch! So we have two quality footballers in slightly different areas and lots of runners to pass to.

If we get under a lot of pressure, this looks like a bad defensive team! But attacking it looks quite fun!

So I could see this going very wrong, but also quite hopeful. Exciting!

Interesting points well made. Hadn't thought of that. Looking forward to seeing how this one pans out.

Am I the only one thinking it might not be a 3-5-2 tonight?
I wonder if that 4 (ss/zv/tm/tr), 3 (ne,an,cb), 1 (kp), 2 (as/fd)?

Just not sure that 11 is screaming 3-5-2 to me?

Yes, just you 😂😂😂

Keen eye tonight in terms of how Moore and Vyner deal with the strength of young Keinan Davis.  Will be a measure of their development.

I reckon it's more of a fluid formation with NE getting further forward, SS more defensive, Nagy and Brunt providing a stable spine and KP roaming between CM and CAM

Start for their new £17m striker. Be interesting to see if he’s £17m worth by general football standards, or by overpaid Villa standards.

It will be even more interesting to see how the new 17m Right Winger gets on
