Dave, being deadly serious, your write ups are so much better than the official pre match views or anything written in the evening post.

You really should submit your work to city and ask if you can do the official pre match preview for the website. You'd have plenty of support from otib

If I was Gregor, I'd be having sleepless nights. Perhaps a contract to write in the EP also?

For fans not using otib, they're missing out on your preview . It's genuinely a great read.

Congratulations to you! And thanks for doing it for us!

Hear, hear, your knowledge and passion deserves the widest audience possible.

Bakinson will own Banana.
Gotta love predictive text !

Bakinson will mostly be dealing with Izzy Brown, but he'll probably put Bannan in his pocket too just because he can...

Yes, bloody stupid comment from me.  Regretted posting it as I hit “submit reply”.  I will learn from this ?

As soon as you wrote that my eyes lit up and I though ooh I'm gonna use that against him if I get the chance ?

Jay on the bench ??

Fantastic to see Jay back, but no Palmer in the squad, do we read anything into that? My only quibble is in central midfield, because sooner or later either Weimann, or Paterson will need to make way for a specialist in that position who can tackle.

Changes for Wednesday, suggesting they’ve gone a bit more cautious away from home.

Looks like Liam Palmer at RWB with Kadeem Harris swapping over to LWB (replacing Matt Penney).

Elias Kachunga in for Jordan Rhodes.

Could be 442, but I think they’ll stick to 352.

Palmer's done his shift for this season

I just hope we don’t focus too much on closing down Bannan like some people want. We should focus on our own game which is working

Get Bannan facing his own goal and chasing back which he isn’t very good at, Bakinson can bully him in midfield and stop him picking any passes as long as those around him shut off passing lines and options

Bakinson vs Bannan will be great to watch. Gonna find out just how far hes come on

The best way to beat Barry Bannan is to prevent him getting on the ball in the first place. As long as our midfield fight to win the 2nd balls and we retain possession, that will go a long way to keeping Bannan quiet.
