daored
Alcohol spray used on a football club's coach to protect against coronavirus left the driver unable to take players and staff to an away match. Oxford United had to change at their hotel and travel to their game at Accrington Stanley by car. It is thought some of the spray in the air was picked up by a device that stops the coach driver starting the vehicle if alcohol has been consumed. Prinny
I didn't realise that technology was used. Let's get it on every car, at least every footballers car. Then not only would the coach not be able to travel, but the entire Derby team wouldn't be able to get to the game...
TonyTonyTony
It should be on every new car IMHO.

TonyTonyTony
I thought the technology was you had to blow into a tube to allow the engine to start? If it’s just picking up the atmosphere then that’s flawed

Med/MadHatter
Over here in Canada it's a common thing to see after drink drive convictions, blowboxes so you can start your vehicle, and every few hours of constant driving you have to reblow to keep driving, the data has to be downloaded and the unit serviced every couple of months at the drivers expense, the inconvenience stops many people from reoffending.
