Also to realise what restrictions are in place in a pub, and that those restrictions don't apply outside the pub - but lets not debate this as we all know how nuts those rules are Thanks to the replies above though, we are "singing from the same song sheet" but have a feeling we are looking at different pictures. I wonder what would happen if Klopp walked into The Arkells tonight? Firstly you shouldn't be making physical contact with others outside your household, including shaking hands. Secondly there is literally pictures of a gentleman with his hands on Deanos face.

Social distancing has been in pubs since they reopened so no change there, I'm fairly sure physical contact isn't recommended and Dean Holden definitely isn't in that many support bubbles! Mr Popodopolous
Quote Holden wins games and support of fans Fair play to the Bristol City head coach Dean Holden. Eyebrows were raised when the former assistant stepped up to replace Lee Johnson. It is early days but City fans will be enjoying his work, with the Robins sitting top of the Championship. Holden is delivering off the field, too. A detailed, uplifting interview with BBC Radio Bristol helped win over some supporters, as did visiting a local pub for a socially distanced chat. It’s good, easy PR, of course, but those who know Holden talk of a genuine character. Monday's Times- Henry Winter column. Apologies if already posted/mentioned. On a general note, Henry Winter quite likes us doesn't he?
Red Army 75
Cannot comment on Saturday. But was drinking in the lions on Friday and the Covid restrictions were in place and followed strictly. Sat at a table with the barmaid bringing the drinks to the table. Had to wear face mask once we left table . It’s a fantastic pub with some excitable people which it seems unfortunately some may have over stepped the mark. Cider and the manager of the club now top of the championship will get people excited. Human nature in these unnatural times

Alan Dicks' Barmy Army
Only on OTIB could our support turn a massive positive into a negative. A few above could do well to educate themselves on the differences between indoor and outdoor guidelines, as it's clear those who listen to the Daily Mail headlines and those who know what they mean... Clearly too many don't actually understand Government guidelines, but I suppose Boris was confused today so maybe we should give people some slack? Prinny
People seem to become incredibly dishonest when it's someone they know and like. Yes. When meeting with people you don’t live with you can socialise in groups of up to 6. This is a legal limit. If your household (and/or support bubble) is larger than 6 people, you can gather together. You should continue to maintain social distancing with anyone you do not live with. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing 3. This includes places like a pub, shop, leisure venue, restaurant or place of worship. When you visit one of these places you should: follow the limits on the number of other people you should meet with as a group – no more than 6 people unless you all live together (or are in the same support bubble) avoid social interaction with anyone outside the group you are with, even if you see other people you know ensure that at least one person in your group provides their contact details to the organiser so that you can be contacted if needed by the NHS Test and Trace programme. Jesus wept As long as it was before 10pm it’s ok I can't speak for anyone else but that's a very simplistic take. I'm not at all outraged but... Someone at that pub with whom he came into close contact is unknowingly asymptomatic- a lot of people are! Holden is in close contact with players on a matchday and in training. Once again, the spread could be asymptomatic- this virus spreads asymptomatically to quite a decent level. Matt Parsons was there apparently- the club was on board. Given that there is an incubation period of 2-14 days is some of the following not possible: Sometime within the period from Sunday 27th September 2020-Sunday 10th October 2020, there is an outbreak of Covid amongst the squad. Asymptomatic and likely not particularly harmful but an outbreak all the same. We are significantly weakened on the pitch for the period of self-isolation that would be required. See point 4 of the first bit- club were on board, therefore club are liable to an extent. EFL and Governing bodies given the stringent requirements would be right on our case. See Genoa, someone cited 14 players there got Covid in that squad, see closer to home Leyton Orient- 17 players apparently! Forfeited tie vs Tottenham, match postponed vs Walsall and face two charges potentially by the EFL. Chances are all will be okay but it's not a given.
