Alessandro Posted October 3, 2020 Report Share Posted October 3, 2020 You can only beat the teams put in front of you...but I think this afternoon was our first real ‘test’ and we were dominated in the second half, yet stood firm. I think we’ve seen spells of excellent football and spells of poor football this season. Hopefully over a longer period we’ll iron out those poor spells - certainly you can hear the coaching staff addressing it during the game. Cliche to say, but let’s see what happens when we face an in form team in the top half. But if the returning players strengthen us as we hope they will and Martin and Wells stay in form....we’re looking very tidy indeed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
