Top man Basso.... Got a lot of time for him.

Loved watching him In goal for us. Just hated the song.... Owwww basso

I would’ve hated the song too if I sang it as if I was pain.

That’s ridiculous, after Bentley I’d rather have Basso in goal than any other City keeper in the last 30 years.

I think I'd rather have Tom Heaton than Basso. Just based on sheer talent alone.

We’re pretty lucky in that we haven’t had too many rubbish keepers in the past couple of decades, but you’ve nailed it with Geifer and Marinovic!

Agreed, how did I forget about Heaton. Without him we’d have probably got less than 20 points that relegation season.

last keeper with a better Brazilian was probably Jon Shaw (head only)

but whilst a show pony he did stop many goals.(Adriano)

and to answer your statement I raise you David James.

Not splitting hairs😉, but I think John Shaw was more Hollywood than Brazilian!

Loved Basso and seems the players loved him too.   Proper character and such a positive man.  Him pointing to the heavens was kinda iconic image from that time, and the inspiration for the 'Always believe' chant.  Despite the acrimonious parting, I'd have him involved at city.

I’ve read some absolute drivel on here but this must top all of it.

He was a great keeper for us.

I've come to the conclusion that RedWhiteAndPurple is a wind up merchant and is only on here having a laugh.  Therefore I apologise for the xenophobia accusation I levelled at him the other day as I realise now that the comment must have been satirical....

This is the case, right?  Because no-one can be this ridiculous, can they?
