City v Middlesbrough Matchday Thread

Recommended Posts

A very poor 45 minutes from us, pedestrian, sloppy, giving the ball away far too easily. We have played very little football. Reminiscent of last season tbh.

Boro have been made to look good and have created the only clear half chances. The AW / NW falling over each other on 38 minutes somehow captured our first half malaise.

Deano has a big half time talk to deliver and the players need to have a word with themselves if we are going to get anything out of this.

Warnock will be telling them they are the better team and there are three points to be had.

Only good thing to say is we are level at half time, having been second best pretty much. Been a battle, and yes it’s a Warnock side and not fun to play against, but we really are not helping ourselves at all so far. Just have to hope for better second half.

1 minute ago, Matthew me said:

Some tired legs on the pitch .

Feels flat from both sides. Real lack of quality in the first half.

Some nice runs from Vyner, I'll stick back us to pinch a 1-0 win

We have no creativity in the middle of the park, playing 3 in the middle we should have someone who can produce a pass , open up the opposition. We don’t even have it on the bench
