How many times have I posted that over the last few years. How many games over a season does our midfield dominate a game?

We have no creation in the middle , playing a three we should be able to accommodate a player who can split a defence with a pass or make something happen. A lot on Walsh

Bakinson looks shot and the other two were totally bossed by McNair.

Brunt should have come on not two more essentially forward players: 5-1-4 by the finish!

This had all the hallmarks of a Johnson *hitshow!!

Wrong starting eleven after the Barnsley performance imo.

Playing a three we need a player who can create space , play a killer ball or run at a defence we don’t have that type of player in our squad unless Walsh can step up

Team should of been freshened up. Sat-Tues-Sat with the same 11 was always going to be a big ask.

Bakinson look spent around 65 mins. Never got control of the midfield. It was screaming out for a change in the middle tonight 2nd half.

Hope DH learns from this one. Worst performance under him so far.

Disappointed he didn’t come on with 30 mins left. We were crying out for some composure and experience in midfield tonight and with his passing and delivery from set pieces think he could have been key rather than swapping the strikers over.

He probably would have come on but for the injury to Mawson which wasted one of our subs

Did Pato touch the ball in the 2nd half ?

It will be interesting to see @Davefevs stats

Exactly why KP shouldn’t be out on loan.

Ball was ping ponging over the midfield.

As proved on multiple occasions he wouldn't have had any impact

Agree. It was the midfield that needed changing not Martin/Wells.
