We have no creation in the middle , playing a three we should be able to accommodate a player who can split a defence with a pass or make something happen. Brunt should have come on not two more essentially forward players: 5-1-4 by the finish! This had all the hallmarks of a Johnson *hitshow!! We were crying out for some composure and experience in midfield tonight and with his passing and delivery from set pieces think he could have been key rather than swapping the strikers over. Bakinson look spent around 65 mins. Never got control of the midfield. It was screaming out for a change in the middle tonight 2nd half. Hope DH learns from this one. As soon as you put markers on them (like Boro did tonight), they become completely ineffective. Bakinson did really well tonight considering.
