Never to the dark side
at the age of 87 one of the early sports presenters I remember along with Brian Moore.
Major Isewater
He’ll be missed nationwide . Blotted his copybook towards the end but remains , for many of us, a figure of our past. Make peace with yourself Mr B.

Oh Louie louie
Rip Frank, sounds like to me he was one off the more clean cut presenters of that era.

GrahamC
Saw some stuff on Social Media trying to be funny by pointing out he was on TV at the same time as Stuart Hall, Jimmy Saville & Rolf Harris, but thing is, his “crimes” were to have sex with other consenting adults & take drugs. That is a whole world of difference from the disgusting activities of the other 3. He was a very good sports presenter & from a time when much of the nation watched the BBC, RIP. Final 3 Star
A household name back in the day. Pretty sure he was the link man for a John Player Sunday League cricket match once and forgot where he was... "And so from... umm... uhh... from where we are, back to the studio." pongo88
His problem was he was caught in a newspaper sting with Miss Whiplash, a dominatrix. He apologised profusely and said it was all a big mistake but then got caught s second time. To get caught once Mr Bough may be regarded as a misfortune; to get caught twice looks like carelessness
Dr_Castro
Mr Bough went to Merton College Oxford, and was one of the last to be awarded the real 'gentleman's degree', a fourth class. This was generally awarded to those who did absolutely no work, but weren't regarded as thickies, like those who got thirds. He spent most of his time boxing. wendyredredrobin
Sad to see the loss of a very good sports presenter who I always enjoyed listening to. I didn't know about the drugs and the hookers until today though, but I suppose we all have our vices. RIP Frank
