he will be sacked at a later date in the season and Paul Simpson will take over as caretaker

then who knows what City will chose

Beryl the tea lady because she knows the players and will tell MA and J L what they want to hear.

It’s become very clear that this year is about treading water and maintaining our middle table status. Once COVID has gone they will bring someone decent in and give it a proper go.

They've never given it a proper go, so I can't see it happening under the current leadership

Nah, I want to see something close to our first team play before I start calling for him to go.

And he needs 3+ transfer windows to undo the damage the 19-20 season did and to get his players in.

As long as we're top half ish I'm ok with him staying.

That is the first team injuries will happen all the time no one knows if the returning players will improve us if they don't relegation could be possible without a doubt

Wish they would have told me that before I paid money for a SC!!

We will never get anywhere with Paterson and COD in a midfield out of position out of their depth!!!

Even Brunt, though more suited, age 35 and 36 in December.

With two strong and TRUE central midfielders, yes. Current setup? Balance just seems dicy.

Not Holden out but I worry he has his blindspots.

You need quality players for 3 5 2 to work and we don't have enough of them

Let's not forget that we have a shitload of injuries.

Say:

           Bentley

     Moore Kalas Mawson

Hunt Walsh Williams Bakinson DaSilva

       Martin Wells

For some games, Baker and Vyner first reserve.

Massengo and Nagy competing given a PROPER chance.

Weimann for some games, able to combine with Wells, for others Martin.

Semenyo and Diedhiou as and when. CM wise, could Rowe even add a bit of know how, cynicism.

I'm afraid that a number of them are not quality players

See, what happens in a league is over the course of the season, the team with the most quality players generally finish highest.

Not necessarily.  A decent manager is important. Also organisation and team spirit. A good team is often more than the sum of its parts.

Holden’s out of his depth, as many us suspected he would be when he was appointed. He isn’t going anywhere right now, though, and the sad fact is we will have the same charlatans ballsing up the hunt for his successor as and when he does go.

Lee Johnson all over again,

Not at all. Under Lee Johnson the scenario would have been....

12.30 Tim Krul walks onto the pitch with clean gloves.

End of 1st half - Tim Krul walks off the pitch with clean gloves.

End of 2nd half - Tim Krul walks off the pitch with clean gloves.

For all our failings we gave it a go and could have scored 5 today. Not LJ like whatsoever.
