Stoke? That was their only defeat in the first 7.

Forest? Where do you reckon they will finish?

Wednesday? That was also their first defeat, they won 2-0 at Cardiff in their next game.

Absolute bollocks.

I think he has only just started watching football, he doesn’t quite realise that scoring a penalty counts as a goal, i wouldnt even bother trying with him.

Average of 1 goal in 3.5 games, including pens. Not a great return considering we are a side that creates chances.

Passing and touch is average at best, movement ok.

Misses too many decent chances.

3 year contract plus 1?

Ive never wanted to post this, but you are spot on.
Lightweight. No pace. Touch not much better than Daves.
Poor signing so far.

Awful signing. Screwed up our playoff ambitions last season when he arrived and has been sub par this season too. Makes so many mistakes every game and hardly ever scores. Get rid in Jan, he's trouble

Ok, Karen.... care to tell us why “he’s trouble”???

He is best on his own in the Pukki role. But still no excuses for his performances.

His link up play looks like it should be better than it is. He does the odd thing like a lovely touch to get himself away from a player. But too often his passing is wild, his touch can be off.

He works his socks off and is aggressive. He has the ability to get chances, most games he will get a chance or 2.

Problem there is though his shooting is wild too! So far looks a bad signing, no doubt about that.

He is very quick, can score a lot of goals. So still who knows he might end up being a success.

But with 4 strikers and DH has come out and openly said he wants to play with 2. Funny thing is I think Martin falls into that bracket too.

QPR team had players running up and down and around him all the time and it gave him plenty of chances per game. Our style doesn't suit him whatsoever.

We paid an inflated price for a player that profits from a team's system and that doesn't suit our own. Simple as.

Good point. No resale value either and a long contract. Disaster.

Yeah, just that Wells is best in that lone striker role. Not sure if that's what Holden will ever go for though.

Huddersfield and QPR he played on the shoulder as the lone striker with balls being played through for him.

But then he doesn't offer some things Holden probably likes in a strike force in holding it up etc.

He doesn't seem to suit how we have played under LJ or Holden so far.

So what do we do? He is on a big and long contract. 30? Years old. Not performing at all. Doesnt suit our play. Looks a duff signing.

Watching that today I’d say our style doesn’t suit anyone. We’re going to nosedive down the table. Holden will be gone by Christmas.

QPR mate was devastated when we signed him- adamant he was/is an outstanding goal scorer. Maybe, maybe not, but we seem to have a track record of failing to get the best out of promising players.

In his first spell at QPR he scored 8 goals in 42 games. Second spell did much better.

I so wish the cock emoji was available for this thread.

Snow flakes would start a petition based on mental health if that was an option.

For the record Wells is out of form and between Semenyo, Fammy and Chris Martin we haven’t got a goal In us. Couple that with lightweight midfielders a languid Bakinson and Kalas trying to defend and coach simultaneously we are a bit pony!!

But hey let’s make it about Wells. L M F A O !
