I think part of the deal from what I read this week, is him staying on in some capacity- sadly!

Yeah, advisory Surely that’s like asking Giant Haystacks or Big Daddy to advise at a weightwatchers meeting? Should see the Royal lose his families fortune in record time if they’ve got that idiot advising.

If I were a Derby fan I’d be dreading it, surely the least they could hope for is that Morris is removed from the club completely? Anything after that would be a bonus. Not going to happen but stuff like this is ******* rubbish, I saw Leeds (Italian) owner say yesterday he was receptive to being part of the Red Bull “franchise”, FFS. A Horse With No Name
Was just reading through their "next manager" thread, 27 pages long and all the usual suggestions, Lowe, Cook, Allardyce, McLaren, Hughton ( yes it goes back to September) Not one mention that I can see for Johnson or Cotterill. Anyway, on about page 24 someone mentions a manager with a known pedigree. Cue half a page of dog puns, John Terrier , Shaun Barker etc. Just goes to show fans are the same the country over. Mr Popodopolous
As per Matt Hughes and his Ahead of the Game column that's out every Friday night, in Saturday's Daily Mail. Interesting little snippet. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8947859/AHEAD-GAME-Media-chief-Stephen-Allan-replace-shamed-Greg-Clarke.html EFL still need to be investigating Derby's charges taken out against assets already sold too, as mentioned in August in the press- again I think by Matt Hughes, need to be analysing whether there's anything amiss there not least as Dell also had involvement with Sunderland in terms of commercial loans etc. Give no quarter, scrutinize everything well I think so anyway! For Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and if they return, Aston Villa as well. Pearce should be stripped of his EFL role at the earliest IMO. What's the process- any ideas? @Coppello you know the Industry of football IIRC, any ideas how Pearce can be removed from EFL representation? It's not this specifically, it's just because it seems to crop up time, after time, after time. Quote Anger over Derby's proposed sale The involvement of Derby chief executive Stephen Pearce in the Football League sanctioning the club’s proposed sale to Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan has angered rival clubs and is the source of considerable embarrassment to many at the EFL. As one of three Championship directors on the EFL board, Pearce was in the crucial meeting last week at which the EFL gave the takeover the green light. Other directors felt he should have left the room. The matter was not put to a vote, so Pearce did not directly influence the outcome, but many view his dual role as a clear conflict of interest, particularly as he could benefit financially from Derby’s sale.
