I’ve been with someone placed on a neck board, and it takes some time to do it carefully, but that seems to be a long time.

 

When I broke my back the first time & I was left on the landing waiting for an Ambulance for 4 hours! When it did turn up it had no spinal board on it so it left & I had to wait for another one to arrive!! 
When I eventually got placed on the spinal board, they continued to bang me into walls, doorways & doors! It was like something from the Keystone Cops but a paramedic version!!

of course, it wasn’t entirely their fault, they didn’t know I had a broken back at that stage!

I don’t think there has been a thread on this and I know he was arguable one of the worst players to ever play for us but not nice to read of any player being treated on the pitch for an hour, hope he makes a speedy recovery!
