Wealwayseatcheese
Does anybody else think that taking photographs of new signings on the roof is slightly amateurish?? Seeing a new player sat on an air conditioning unit or in front of an electric control panel is ridiculous. Take them up to the Suspension Bridge or training ground. Every time I see it I just can’t understand the reasoning behind it
Selred
It's "edgy" and goes along with the whole "on the roof" announcements. Its unique, I quite like it but they do need to clean up there, get the jet washer out Mark Ashton!

wendyredredrobin
I like it personally, but agree that the area does need a bit of a clean up.
Carey 6
I think it’s tired now. Been done way too much by us. Time for a change I reckon. Bring back Adam Baker.
Unan
Only City fans care/see our signing announcements so I don't think it needs to be that polished. I agree that it's been overdone though.
Lew-T
I’m sure they will unveil new players and staff at the new training ground when it’s done.
Sturny
I imagine when the new training ground is fully in use they'll use that. Haven't minded the on the roof announcements personally.
Lrrr
Would've been better imo if you had a new signing announced in a different area of the stadium each time, yes you'd run out but move on to a different idea then
Admin phantom Posted November 12, 2020 Admin Report Share Posted November 12, 2020 It was a great unveil for Kalas, and sure that will never be beaten. I'd bet our new signings probably fear for their lives when they are told they are going straight on the roof
Robbored
I don’t really care tbh. All that matters is that the player has signed and you’ll find that info on the OS.
And Its Smith
I was on that roof two weeks ago. Certainly very underwhelming to be stood up there. The players must be puzzled why it happens

What was your yardstick of legitimacy before the days of the internet and what did it take to convince you that the 'OS' is a reliable source? Essentially you are surrounded by a lot of metal and could be anywhere industrial. Jerry SLO said he doesn’t get why people want to check out the roof and I get what he means now! jj77
Maybe they should do that thing the rough birds do. Look all minging without make-up, rub their knickers on the camera and turn into a completely different person.

YGBjammy
I like the idea of being on the roof, but surely there must be an angle on the roof where you can see the stands/pitch rather than AC units etc?

grifty
The Kalas reveals was great. I get when people say it's probably run its course now, but when they do the 5 second snippet of rain on the roof, or a seagull, you know it's a signing and you can't help get excited so I think it's really good for that.
