Why?
If people want to get a vaccine, they’ll get a vaccine. Why should our football players be used to encourage them to do so.

*and before anyone jumps to any conclusions - no, I’m not an anti-vaxxer!! I just don’t see why footballers need to be involved.

The point I was making is why should they be paying celebrities to encourage the vaccine.

Our players shouldn't have to do anything but they are known to be community minded.

Celebrities shouldn’t be paid to encourage a vaccine, and neither should our footballers be involved as a ‘community gesture’.

With plans in place to use Ashton Gate 12 hours a day,  7 days a week for months of vaccinations,  where does this leave plans to have fans back?

Is it just in the south stand concourse? If so block it off at each end and have people sit in the other stands, shouldn't be a high enough capacity needed for it to be used.

Guess they have to work on the assumption it will pass, rather than delay and lose time. I worked out its about 20 people a minute which can easily be managed in terms of the injections, but cannot work out how they will get that number of people in and out of the car park, and you can't bus them in.

I'm sure the residents won't mind road parking, just like a match day experience again for them ?

Guess is it's me being pessimistic but just can't see it happening that quickly. Early Jan if we are really lucky and that's doubtful I think.

Ashton gate playing a part in the new world order.. How sad

Will most probably need a Microchip/Digital passport to get back into stadiums again, along with the vaccine, and also to fly again in 2021. To get your life back, they won’t force you to take the vaccine, they’ll just take away more of your personal freedoms that we take for granted pre 2020. Welcome  to Bat Shit Crazy Britain, and the world.

Story in Bristol live, South Stand concourse to vaccinate 110k people per week

Love the blue few desperate to get to AG

Why not use bristol zoo instead. Isn’t this place going to be empty soon ? Making the gas supporters go to this venue like BS3 should we give them a memento or something as a reward like a City scarf ?

oh the needles the nurses use could even be red. Now that’s a good idea.

It is just the South Stand I believe. A section of that stand will be unavailable due to access from the concourse  but of course with no away fans we can use the Atyeo if needed.

I am convinced it will be the Atyeo that is used anyway.

It won't be The Lansdown stand as that will be ring fenced for playing squads etc.

The Atyeo is completely stand alone and much easier to keep seperate

A passport and mandatory vaccinations before flying? Whatever next.

I thought the new world order were a bunch of globalists who wanted to make travel and mixing between countries easier, not harder?

Who would dream of such an affront to our civil liberties ?

Has never happened before. How would we survive ? They'll be expecting us to have Cholera, Typhoid & even Malaria jabs before we travel next......oh hold on !!!

But it's a shit tip under there now.

I suppose they could house 2,000 socially distanced in the Dolman but 4,000 would need 2 stands.

Upper Lansdown perhaps? Along with Dolman/Atyeo. That way you have upper and lower concourse and more space for people to move around.

Reason I don't think it'll be Lansdown, when I went up for the Norwich game (watched in Lansdown suite), we had to be escorted from by the sports bar to the VIP entrance the other end to make sure we didn't go near any of the players cars

If they’re going to be doing the 80-100 age group first the last thing you want them to do is have to walk up 2500 steps first.
