I didn't realise it was their choice. Seemed odd at the time when R*vers called 2 games off without announcing how many positive tests they had. Statement said they had no guarantee from the EFL that they wouldn't face punishment if they chose to postpone without EFL approval so yes while they chose to play its not necessarily for the reasons you said.
