1960maaan
I would expect a similar 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 , sort of set up. We have; Hunt now rested, Paterson possibly back, Bakinson ready for a start and Wells hitting scoring form. We also have; Mariappa having played his first 90 in a while, COD played a lot of football, Nagy played a lot of football ,Semenyo played a lot of football. After saying he would stick with most of the same side, Holden made 5 changes for QPR. Birmingham will offer different challenges from Reading and QPR who's flair players made me nervous. I think Brummie's will be more solid and less ambitious to start. For this reason, and I think we need Wells closer to Martin, my guess would be Bentley Vyner Kalas Moore/Mariappa Hunt Bakinson Nagy COD DaSilva Martin Wells

What are your predictions on this one as i may of missed your usual detaile pre match report. I remember many years back in Division 1 and going away to city at Birmingham and we went down 3-0 in season 76 / 77. We didn’t have a good history against them back in the glory days and didn’t get a win against them to late 78 at home. I remember these ones and also remember where i stood in the ground at each one. Great years even though we didn’t get many wins I’ve been too busy with new job to write a preview...sorry everyone. My first thought today is get the first goal, because it might be the only one....cue a 5-4 match! I’d like us to be a bit more patient in possession, but pass it with tempo....I think we have gone for killer ball a bit too early in the phase of possession. Other than that, looking forward to seeing how we do against a different type of team.
Hocca
Bentley Hunt Vyner Kalas Dasilva Nagy Bakinson O’Dowda Semenyo Wells Paterson really want to see Wells central in this formation and Paterson further forward linking up with Dasilva down the left. Good options from bench with Fam, Semenyo and possibly Pato

I'm no longer able to say " Sorry, love, can't help now I'm just reading Dave's analysis".
Finley_Smith10
Can’t see their being much change apart from maybe Bakinson for Brunt and Hunt for Mariappa Bentley Hunt Vyner Kalas Dasilva Nagy Bakinson Semenyo O’dowda Wells Martin with hopefully Pato and Fam to come on if needed

If you listen to OSIB pod, I do a 3 minute preview on there, or alternatively you can see my crib notes: in essence, this is my process....prep OSIB audio....then spend the rest of the week watching video, looking at data, clipping screenshots, drawing on blobs and arrows, writing my preview. GrahamC
Gregor seems to think both full backs will be switched, so Hunt & Rowe in for Mariappa & Dasilva, & Bakinson back for Brunt. We’ll see, I certainly expect Hunt to return after his rest but clearly it depends how confident we are that Tyreeq can last at least an hour & although Dasilva struggled badly midweek, I am not so convinced that he will drop out. The number of times I've pointed to my head phones when the wife says something, plugged in or not That's the headphones plugged in not the wife, she still hasn't plugged the chair in I got her. Very good!! Just printing them off now and have informed her Ladyship that I've been sent some urgent course work for analysis. 5-4 then! Let's hope Brum score their four first as OTIB will become the only place in the UK to be. Meltdown in lockdown.

Brunt was ok second half, Nagy can go more forward. Last game he could have had a hattrick, scored the winner was good. It worked last game, 3 points, think Holden plays the same team. Has to be Bakinson for the immobile Brunt.
1960maaan
Surprised and yet not. Wells closer to Martin, more of a solid FB and I guess just not risking Bakinson just yet.

Turn of phrase, he hasn't had much football since he pulled out of the game weeks ago. I'm guessing they are easing him back to being able to play a full 90. With all the injuries through circumstances it makes sense.
