Frank Worthington was a truly gifted player and also something of maverick and really should have more England caps. A luxury player

A notorious womaniser in his time as well and I read once that he had sex at half time one occasion............:cool2:

Apparently in "Shoot!" magazine he said his favourite hobby was "rummaging around hardware stores". Presumably a cleaned up version for the younger audience.

Incredibly sad. Never saw Friday Night Dinner until Lockdown 1. Binged it in 2 weeks. Absolutely fantastic.

Me too.

It was a recommendation from the kids - who are increasingly feeding me cool TV, films and music. I knew there was a reason we had them!

Paul was great in Chernobyl as well, which was another lockdown binge watch.

I did keep expecting him to say "shit on it!" as the reactor melted down though.

Chernobyl ?        I thought that was a sky drama series, no ?

Another he was in that I would recommend is No Offence - only 2 series but it's a great cop show.

I was going by the trailer posted above ( I've not seen either) it looked like they were both comedys

Friday Night Dinner (which is a comedy) was on C4. You can watch it on All4 and I thoroughly recommend it.

Chernobyl was - I think - an HBO/Sky mini-series about the Chernobyl disaster.  Not many laughs, but you do get to learn a lot about radiation.

Agreed.

I wondered how you could make the story into something that would appeal to more than just nerds like me, but they managed to keep the tension and human interest angles high enough that even Mrs R was hooked. All while not playing too fast and loose with the basic story

I give it ten minutes before Sarah Vine and Piers Morgan blame the stress caused by Megan and Harry

I expect all the talk will be whether they will both come back for the funeral.
