Loan players recalled

No imo. We will bring in 2-3 on loan I reckon. These recalls are simply about putting players on our bench who have league experience.

Could do with it, but I wonder if the financial wiggle room is there- have a bad feeling that it could be strengthening through recalls but hope you're right.

83 games in 5 and a half seasons according to Wiki? 67 in the League.

Suppose he's worked his or is working his way up- 9 in League One, 22 in Non League and 36 in League Two.

Some good things in the video but is he really ready to be first choice LB/LWB in a top half/midtable Championship side?

Perhaps the top brass have told Holden these lads are to be recalled. Looking at the state of our injury list and the make up of our bench, no disrespect to very young lads being stuck there through no fault of their own, are you surprised to see players recalled?

Of course, hope they do great- just don't have any great expectation at this time.

Agreed, although that won’t stop a few on here bagging them the first time they make a mistake or have a bad game BUT they have to be better options than the likes of Bell, Towler and Pearson right at this moment.

A shame we didn't give the youngsters gathering dust on the subs bench the past few weeks a chance to see what they could do, at least they have been in and around our matchday squad

What for not being able to control a ball and letting it run away from him. Surely that decision is a joke!

That’s the criteria they use.  Does it matter?  I wouldn’t be looking at Opi’s assists column as the main way of judging performance / contribution / ability etc, against another player....not in such a small sample of games / minute.  I suspect at some point he won’t get one because of a small deflection (like Martin for Weimann at Forest where it didn’t count) and it’ll even itself out.
