Port Said Red
Cracking little player was Bobby, probably came into the category of not quite as good as he thought he was though. I really liked him when I was a boy, but my dad moaned about him every game.
Red
Never afraid to go in where it hurts, he would be booked every game as it is now with the professional divers and screamers. remember him going into a hard challenge and the ball burst. R.I.P Bobby

slartibartfast
Loved the little bloke. He started poorly as he was a replacement for fan favorite Johnny Quigley, but we suddenly realised what a great, tough little player he was. RIP Bobby

NotRoyal
Sent from my iPhone Begin forwarded message: I would like to say how sad I am to hear the news today about Bobby passing away I knew Bobby through buying art from him at Bermondsey market and the excitement I experienced, as a lifetime BRISTOL City fan, when I realised he was one of my football heroes. I shall never forget that day and never forget the happiness we enjoyed talking about his adventures at City. I met Bobby on a number of occasions after when he would tell me about his health and concerns. I posted on the City fans forum at the time I had met him and I think he was genuinely flattered that so many fans remembered him so fondly I can’t say I was a close friend, but I will greatly miss seeing and chatting with him My condolences to his family Sent from my iPhone 5
wendyredredrobin
We bought him from Leicester and sold him to Pompey. Whilst he was only with us for 3 years he was one of my favourites at the time. Sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Bobby.
