If we have 4 players suffering from an injured hamstring, can we not just combine them to make two complete players?

Great theory but knowing City we'd just have 2 players with both hamstrings gone

Not making anything up, chap, just joining the dots and offering an opinion.

Gregor had to corroborate the Williams story before going to print. Working in that industry and knowing how confidential sources work, that will mean he spoke to another player(s) or a member of the medical staff. I doubt the latter would admit their own failings, so it almost certainly came from a player(s).

Given that Pato sought a second specialist opinion outside of the club after our own medics failed to get to the bottom of it, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was him. I could also see motive for Weimann because of his exemplary injury record.

Oh, I agree it’s usually bad luck to do an ACL. But I also think he was at risk of a serious injury due to the workload he was under, eg not being rotated out or allowed to rest - and that isn’t down to luck.

Yes, guess he might’ve been the next hamstring or thigh injury.

Interesting that his parents were both sprinters.  His mum was Austrian 100m hurdles record holder for donkeys years.  Maybe he’s built for high intensity? Dunno, just wondering.

Vyner was English School cross country (not sure if Champion or not) too.

So either you've seen or had someone who knows specifically tell you about the heavy weights program?

Well I haven’t seen anyone or any city players doing a heavy weigh

I really don’t buy that the medical/physio department are at fault. They’re all fully qualified, professional  and experienced people who know what they’re doing. As I posted previously the days of Buster Footman are long gone.

If there is an explanation for the long injury list then maybe the training regime needs reviewing and I suspect that that is what Deano will be examining with his specialist team.

As a former health care professional I’d be seriously irritated if an untrained patient of mine complained that I wasn’t doing a proper job..........

Didn’t the osteopath Julian Midda use to treat City players for their backs?

Cam Pring played 17 ninety min games at Pompey never missed a days training , we recall him he’s back ten days they put him on a heavy weight program for his legs they make him do it two days on the spin what happens ? He pulls his hamstring!! Out now for 8-10 weeks they have not got a clue and they have all been brought in by MARK ASHTON how long now are we going to put up with this man ?

If the information is correct that he was told to do two days running a heavy weight programme. No s&c coach would tell any sportsman to do that. You need to give the legs a good 4-5 days to recover. Also why make him do that when is has proved his fitness by the number of games he played for Portsmouth. He arrived back with us injury free. If this is fact it alone tells you where our problems are. It doesn't take weeks to work it out. It needs sorting NOW.

Operation today and out for estimated 12 weeks

Going to be a push for him to see much action

FFS. Sort this embarrassing joke out city.

best of luck with your recovery CP.

I was hoping to see you battle it out with JD this season. Now I would just be happy to see you both mended and healthy and hopefully ready for action before the season finishes
