Training Facility

Loving the new gym. The Robins dumbbells look gert lush. Always good to see tons of power racks-last decade or so football has jumped into the present regarding weight training.

(maybe not so much our S&C team, who appear hell-bent on crippling the squad ?

It's a big improvement on the training facilities when I first watched City.

I don't know where they did the long distance pre-season runs, maybe the Downs as I don't know if Ashton Court was open to public then.

Day to day training was in the car park behind the Williams stand from 1952. Special training for big cup ties was a run on Weston beach followed by brine baths at the swimming baths at Knighstone in Weston.

Those were the Dark ages!

It looks fantastic.

It will be a real draw in getting the players Nige wants in, PL facilities will make a huge difference to players who want to succeed.

As many have said SL has put his money when his mouth is.

I have real belief that the failed ‘experiment ‘ with Dean Holden AND the huge success with the Bears has woken him up to what is needed at the club.

I am very, very quietly optimistic, that this time next year (Covid permitting) we all may be rather excited about going to AG for the last few games.
