Exactly.

We're playing shit, and I'm not defending the performances at all.

But the bottom sides this season have been utterly abysmal- if Wycombe take a point or more today there will be 2 teams on under 1 point per game so far, them and Wednesday.

Brum if they lose (currently 0-0) will be exactly 1 point per game.

That would make 3 of the current bottom 4 on 1 ppg or less.

Well James, we are currently just above half way in the table and we are utterly abysmal!

Not a clue how to defend as a team. Not a clue how to create in midfield. Not a hope of scoring because the service toward their goal is utterly abysmal!

3 dominant centre backs. Flint 6ft 6, Morrison 6ft 4, Nelson 6ft. All brilliant in the air and strong as any cb’s in this league.

3 cultured midfielders, Lansbury, Williams, HNM.

Number of balls played into the channel to turn the big dominant CB’s. None.

Number of balls lumped up to Diedhiou by our long ball defence, for him to lose to the 3 dominant CB’s. Loads.

Oh dear.

Stop talking sense Harry!

It’s painful to watch. Kalas and Mawson aren’t helping by standing still on the ball. There’s space there to run into, make the run and drag Cardiff players out of position.

We’re playing right into Cardiff’s hands by standing still and lumping balls up field. So frustrating!

Not sure what it says more about, the tactics or the character of the players. Some are clearly taking what they see as the easy option and lumping it up to Fam to absolve themselves of responsibility.

None of that changes a single thing in my post.

We literally need about 9 points from 18 games, none of the bottom 4 would catch us if we did that without a fair upturn in their form.

So we could drop to 0.5 points per game for the rest of the season and likely be safe, that's how much worse the bottom teams have been.

Can't you?

No, mind I don't have much faith that we will win many but what four more wins should be enough, could be close depends on who is in charge reckon Holden is on borrowed time a defeat today could see him relieved of his duties tonight even.
