I remembered that in order to have a balanced team in and out of possession, defending and attacking, we need a left back in a back four. Mariappa at LB unbalances us- Semenyo, Diedhiou, Wells is questionable- not least as there would be a temptation with Diedhiou to hit long..vs 3 CBs who are all 6 ft and above!
