Season Ticket Renewals

Jeez

Recommended Posts

It’s usually about Feb/Mar the club start rolling out the renewals given the uncertainty it will hopefully be pushed back until we know the outlook for attending football.

Hypothetically, if asked now what would you do?

Who’s renewing, who’s on the fence & who’s going to renew regardless?

Not likely to be on sale until at least the summer. I'll still renew, things can change dramatically by then. :w00t:

Nope. This whole watching from home situation has opened my eyes to the fact that football is supposed to be entertainment. I pay to be entertained. There’s no excitement in that team, no flair, nobody crunching into tackles, nobody that I can’t wait to watch, and one shot on target every two hours.
The fact that more than once this season I’ve paid for a game, turned it off bored after an hour and gone to do something else (when let’s be honest there is nothing else to do) is a telling story.
The buzz of Bristol City has gone after 22 years of having a season ticket.

There will be a hardcore (6-7000) who will renew whatever. And that’s going to be about it. Many on here have lost the love for live football and our performances this season have done nothing to encourage anyone who wants to be entertained to buy a season ticket.

The appointment of Holden was a very short-sighted one and one that will come back to haunt the club both in footballing terms and financially.

??? the amount of peeps saying they wont renew. Bet you do ?

In a normal non covid world you may be right but in the current world people will be cutting out luxuries and that's what a season ticket is,

400 quid to pay and watch this shit or 400 quid to cover the rise in the cost of living while wages stagnate and job losses continue to increase due to the economic fall out of the worse pandemic since 1919

Just makes you realise what the matchday experience is.  Football at AG has been awful for a couple of years now and without the  banter, drinks, socialising etc , the football as a stand alone item is not worth watching. If we get back to how things were before covid , then a beer or 2 with mates , whatever the performance makes it more appealing.. so short answer is probably yes, I will renew.  I would still like Holden to go though.

We're considering. Might wait until the last possible moment and for a change of management.

We've walked away before - missed the love-in with journeyman Jon Stead and the 'Run by DMc' and SOD years - don't feel we missed much.

There have been plenty of times in the past 40 years when it's not been practical to have a ST - small kids, work commitments. It's often not been necessary. I can't see the Gate being packed too often under the current regime, and I can't see much danger of needing a ticket to secure a seat when we get to the Prem!

It’s a no from me. Me & the boy won’t be renewing unless there is a serious change in the dynamics & strategy of the club. Lansdown has once again shown hollow words & complete naivety with the appointment of Holden. Bristol Sport is sadly no longer the favourite play thing within Bristol Sport.
