By the letter of the law, it’s a pen and Mawson had to go. Not saying it’s right, but that’s what VAR’s there for. I’m more f**ked off with Wells not squaring the ball to an unmarked Pato. Selfish prat.

I can put up with most things about modern football but i cannot stand VAR. Not just because a decision went against us just watching any game i think it ruins it. Mark Ashton being a belter, Dean Holdens uninspiring football won’t stop me going to games! But the second they bring VAR to the championship thats me done

Quite surprised to see any complaints was clear as soon as they showed it in TV it was a pen and straight red.

There was one replay there, the above side-on one, at normal speed, where you can see Mawson accelerate his hand to the ball.

Penalty for me.
