As said.

And believe me, the player isn’t happy.

I don't blame him, Lenners.

Williams only had 45 minutes v Swansea U23s and 67 minutes v Watford U23s before being asked to start twice in four days. That's madness from Holden when he had alternatives (Nagy and Bakinson were both fit to start). In many ways, it sums up his naiveity.

Recurring injury that has only just been picked up.

Begs the question as to whether it was a strange, unusual injury that sometimes won't get picked up on until you've seen 2 or 3 different specialists, or whether it was just negligent? It wouldn't be the first time (Steve Brooker).

Hopefully he can now get the correct treatment and come back next season better than ever. Shame because from the limited time we've seen him on the pitch, he looks a great player that you would be able to build a side around.

You joke

Bit a good mate of mine had a stroke and next thing he’s aware of is 24hrs later , when he wakes up in the BRI ICU with one leg , the other having been amputated

(Totally true , I jest not - in fairness there was a medical explanation)

Did you offer to buy his slippers ?

Begs the question why we didn’t give him a scan 8 months ago but there you go.

Looking forward to seeing him in August.

Because he did his thigh initially.  Hamstring was a set-back injury.

I don't moan much, but even I've had enough of this nonsense.

Something has to be done. Its absolutely ridiculous. I find it completely unprofessional to not have sorted this out by now. These injuries are still happening and I guess we are still 'looking into it!'

My worry is the conclusion will be that it's just bad luck.

I just can't see how the absolutely crazy amount of very long term injuries - all season, half a season, a third or quarter are all long periods out. I just can't see it as bad luck.

I even forget that we have certain players at our club that we haven't even heard about for so long!

It's baffling to me.  Is this a case of having the wrong people in at the the wrong time.  We seem so unequipped to deal with the present situation and have pushed/trained people to much.  Rookie manager and training methods contributed to this.  Serious questions have to be asked.  it's not just bad luck.  Luck isn't a thing.  An eff load of injuries is an effin thing.  And there must be a reason for it.  SO FRUSTRATING!!

But the inquiry has come back that they’re all individual cause and effect.  SL told us on Monday. ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️

Personally, I can see how they got the pre-season work wrong (never had to do it like this before) and that caused injuries say up to Xmas.  But since then, I’m amazed that we are still seeing issues....Pring, Williams etc.  From the outside looking in, it now looks like high-class incompetence, and that they are not learning.

Ashton insists we review everything we do on the fitness and medical side all the time. Then we conclude that everyone is doing a splendid job.

Nothing to see here then.

But listening to SL and MA we are obviously the only club that had a short pre-season. Not that we make excuses of course.

It's just crap.  It's crap on the pitch. It's crap off the pitch.  This mountains of injuries are crap.  Just crap.  I have other verbs but can't use them.  But crap it.  I have no positives from this season.  None.  Absolute CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!  This season has now broken me.  Cos it's so crap.

By February, none of Baker, Williams and Walsh had kicked a ball for us this season. Best example.

It's a farce.

Why were Holden and Simpson saying he just felt a bit of tightness? You could clearly see Williams say that it's gone when he did it. Why lie to the fans about it and make them believe he'll be back next week, madness.

Because lying to the fans, or simply withholding information, is the club's modus operandi. They regard us with barely concealed disdain at best.

They may live to regret it when season ticket renewals come along; or rather don't.
