I was aware of the fatigued bit Phants and unsure if ‘assumed’ is your word or theirs

If it’s ‘theirs’  then ‘they’ need to get to the job centre tomorrow

DH said they think it might be 'a strain'. Investigations are underway.

"slight knock" is Bristol City Medical Team code for "injury that may require the amputation of one or both legs"

?

Before they discover it was actually a broken wrist but were holding the anatomical diagram upside down

Imagine that lot in A&E

’Doc we’ve lost the patient in cubicle 5 , he’s gone , seems like it was his heart‘

Doc ‘What had we assessed him as’

Nurse ‘Sprained Ankle’

Followed by A&E press statement: "He's been feeling a little unwell, but hoping to be back on* the grass next week."

You joke

Bit a good mate of mine had a stroke and next thing he’s aware of is 24hrs later , when he wakes up in the BRI ICU with one leg , the other having been amputated

(Totally true , I jest not - in fairness there was a medical explanation)

That horrible, and worse if the "medical" explanation was they got the medical notes mixed up.

No , mustn’t derail the thread , but he’d had a massive stroke , major surgery to heart needed immediately

Took a big artery from leg to do the priority heart repair , And it took so long to do they couldn’t save his leg

They saved his life though

Just ‘a bit of a shock when he came to’ !!

I’m just putting it out there that no one should be surprised when Williams is out for the rest of the season.

I have a niggly feeling we’re being lied to.

Don’t fear Fordy - he’s in his way to Solihull as we speak, with 6 others

Ought to have a sweepstake - I’m going 5 weeks before we see him

It is worse than originally feared yes, unsurprisingly with our medical team.

Probably a knock on, or a result of not being fit enough to start 2 games in about 3/4 days.

Or the fact that he wasn't fit enough, or ready in the first place.....

Williams is off to see a specialist about that pesky hamstring of his. Thanks for rushing him back, Dean.

Is he going back to the first specialist, the second specialist or is there now a third specialist I wonder? Is he or she perhaps the specialist's specialist?
