He didn't appoint himself. We all know what should have happened. It didn't. Therein lies the real issue.

Indeed. Can’t knock the bloke for accepting the job and the pay rise that would of come with it but he should never have been offered it.

Putting Holden aside , if you think or are hoping ,  merely replacing the head coach will turn us into a promotion threatening side

I think you are naive

Anyone know where keith Dowling is? I see paul Simpson a lot around the tech area...but what about the other one?

He sat opposite the dug outs , in the stand at QPR

If any of us were in Dean’s position we would have backed ourselves to take the job. He’s been badly let down by Ashton & Lansdown jnr saying he got the job due to ‘being a good human’. The injuries have not helped

He has also been badly let down by believing he had the ability or experience to do the job. He should have started at a club in a lower division and worked his way up. He is out of his depth.

Why ? He’s worked with Johnson , he’s applied for the role . The employer should have those conversations

Dear oh dear do we have to go through this after every match where we do not win. Let’s be clear about something. Holden will get some time unless city look in serious danger of going down. It’s pointless going on about it week after week and while moaning about him might make people feel better it will not make any difference.

He is trying to change the way they play and we will not know how successful he has been for a while yet.

There are plenty of managers who have taken a while to get things the way they want. Ferguson at Manchester United probably being the most obvious example.

I suspect that the supporters of most teams would have come away from that match Monday moaning about the ref rather than their own manager and players.

Why dont we just get rid of Ashton and at least give Holden a chance

Maybe. I’m just just worn out from people getting the job with no track record of any notable achievement.

Who was the last manager we had who was neither a big name or had a promotion on their cv who got us even close to getting promoted???

Cor blimey...after  the first 5 games he was the messiah...  he was a ‘champ manager,’ now, after this last run of games he’s the ‘chump’ ..... best go and all this malarkey.

The fact the starting eleven tonight would have no resemblance to the team he would put out if we were not decimated by injuries to most of the starters is forgotten.
wait and see second half season as players return...then judge.
