It is Sept 11 th 2005 all over again.

The 37-year-old has agreed to relinquish the post following a review of the Robins' football organisation carried out in the wake of Saturday's 7-1 drubbing at Swansea.

Holden would take 7-1 from here.

Then they should be disciplined or sacked. In normal working life unless involved in an official dispute refusal to do your job results in discipline or worse. Why should it be any different in football.

It shouldn't be but it is. Can't do anything about that.

Dean is now in an untenable position and we are sleepwalking towards the lower end of the table BUT until Teflon get his arse kicked out of it nothing will change.

We absolutely must kick Teflon's arse out of it.

If we're honest, this has been coming for a long time. I'm surprised it's against Watford, as they have had problems scoring. If you constantly invite the opposition to attack you and don't attck yourself, the inevitable will happen.

Shame the owners never saw this happening when they chose the new man to replace the previous failure.

theres a difference between wanting him appointed, and understanding the decision.

He wasnt my first choice, but the way it was talked up and those first few interviews I was excited about the prospect. I was wrong.

'Excited by the prospect'! Of Dean Holden!

Harsh to say but it's the supporters of these abysmal appointments down the years that have conspired in City being perpetual underachievers.

65 mins and no shots on target again..

It nearly every week now and has been for so long.

Forget conceding 5 it’s the other end has been a problem for months.

Wells through the middle is clearly to simple for our trio of mangers coaches or what ever they claim to be.

Trying to get a positive out of this.....

....er, we're still in the top half of the table.

Come the last game of the season Holden will be saying "We are only 26 points off the play offs so we go again."

Watford fifth: https://streamja.com/0Pqz1

You have to wonder whether Bentley got himself into a poor position there so he could dive convincingly; as if he tried.

Honestly I don't care if they put 10 past us so long as it means Holden is out and SL wakes the **** up and realises we need an experienced manager who actually has tactical knowledge and the ability to get the best out of the players!!!

Last week I prophesied as to where Mick M would take Cardiff this season. I suggested it was far from impossible for him to sneak them into the top 6. Well, they have now currently shot up to 7th and just 6 points off. yes its tight around them but a lot of us wanted someone like him or Hughton; both are doing cracking jobs at their respective clubs yet we had to suffer the utterly pathetic spin from Ashton that they had done an 'exhaustive search over 6 weeks and Holden was the best man for the job'. To say he is a disingenuous condescending flannel expert has to be the understatement of the year. Other clubs' fans must have breathed a huge sigh of relief when City appointed him or are laughing very loudly now.

Frankly, I think his remarks were a disgrace not least because he told people/fans, in close quarters, that an exciting appointment was coming. I wish he would leave the club immediately. Pathetic waste of space of a man.

There, I said it.
