Mr Popodopolous
Eddie Howe- to what extent does he rely on the cheque book? This is something that won't be a feature for many Championship clubs for a bit, if FFP isn't scrapped.
shelts
Love to see Eddy come and have a go, pretty sure it won’t happen . I expect if Ashtons still in a job and Holden is gone we will get Appleton
ExiledAjax
It's so frustrating. IMO we're a far less attractive job now than we were in July 2020. Mid-season, no transfer window, massive injury list, out of the cups. What's the attraction for anyone to come here now who didn't fancy it or was told "no" in the Summer? What sort of transfer budget would he want vs what could we (and many Championship clubs) offer him in the first Post Covid season?
INCRED
If there was a coach on a par with Pat Lam then Howe would be that person but can’t see it myself
BTRFTG
For once and for all, you can't polish turds. We've a sewage works worth of them on the books. Yes, Holden & Co had to go but HE WASN'T TO BLAME. Were there any justice in the world 30 utterly crap players would see their contracts annulled tonight. Frauds all. Red-Robbo
I know Howe isn't keen to move from his Dorset home. We might think Dorset is West country, but to be honest, you can get to London faster from the New Forest than you can get to Bristol. And proximity is the only thing going for us. steviestevieneville
Might sound a bit daft but. He built Bournemouth up from nothing and brought them through the leagues. Any man that comes in has to stop us sliding. We’re in free fall , we need someone to get us organised & start scrapping . Not sure he’d be what we need right now. Eddie was pretty horrific with transfers at Bournemouth, I think he would be far better working as a head coach with someone else looking after that side. Obviously, that would require MA to be completely competent, and that is a complete different story...

What size transfer budget and then wage budget can we realistically offer him? My suspicion, like a lot of Championship clubs, is not a lot. Don’t take this the wrong way Mr POP and your knowledge of finances of various Clubs admirable , but you get hung up on money and finances far too much Howe won’t come here anyway
