Wells has scored 7 and got a few assists and hasn’t played up front all season and he is being slaughtered for not contributing enough and has been playing similar role to Semenyo. Age shouldn’t matter if your good enough you will shine no matter your age. He has had half a season at Newport and a few months at Sunderland so he has gone L2,L1 and now championship. He has worked his way up and had experience at different levels. If he isn’t producing the goods then he should be benched, give someone else a go. We can’t constantly say it’s his first full season so we will let him off. He is 21 and should of learnt by now how to shoot or when to pass to someone. He has regressed over the last few months, if that is down to confidence, training or tactics I don’t know but he needs to improve fast and we can’t just keep saying he’s young and learning.
