All other years since our last promotion, the 22nd team had 40 or 41.
ohhhshauntaylor
I’d be happy with anything from 12th upwards..... the 3/1 for a top half finish on Wednesday morning was too big I though- so hopefully that happens, and it pays for next seasons season ticket! mozo
I think one important target is to finish higher than Cardiff! And if we do that we'll probably be top 10. With Bournemouth and QPR at home now, winning one of those would be good and I'd be chuffed with 4 points.

It's the number of points the 20th team get that matters, won't concern us this season though

Being Gas and using Gaslogic I'll bet he claims laying the groundworks for Ranieri to win the Prem.

LondonBristolian
Teams fall away and seven points is not insurmountable by any means but it's daft to think about the play-offs at the moment. For now, it's got to be about trying to maintain the form, get a style of football and for Pearson to work out a plan for next season. If we find that, with five games to go, we've closed the gap then maybe we start to hope for something more but, great as this week's wins have been, it's time to enjoy them for what they are rather than start getting carried away.
