Time for a vigorous, rigorous process, nah.... JFDI !!

In this recording of last night's live podcast the panel say the right man should be hired within the next 7-10 days not 2-3 weeks:

https://foreverbristolcity.podbean.com/e/vigorous-rigorous-process-nah-jfdi-now/

We discuss a showing so bad against a hard working but ordinary Barnsley that the temporary coaches should be shown the door on Monday and the new man be in place by the time of the home game against QPR on March 3rd. by which time a further 3 defeats will probably have been registered to make it a perfect 10 in succession but still leave time to secure the 10-12 points necessary to avoid the drop.

Paul Cook is what we term the base point selection but the view remains that with Ashton in charge we are likely to be underwhelmed by the choice.

We praise SL for getting personally involved but the way things have deteriorated this past few weeks is just an acceleration of a slide that has been going on for 3 years

Good podcast as ever.

Having just seen Woodgate appointed at B’mouth I’m braced for a vigorous rigorous six week session leading to Paul “Simmo” Simpson being anointed best human (2021).

Bournemouth have appointed Woodgate ?!!

Blimey, that is a bit underwhelming for their supporters.

Mind you, it might will be underwhelming for us in a few days weeks

I should have said “until the end of the season” but he’ll get them in the playoffs and will be hard to sack from there.

I know a few AFCB fans and they are speechless.

Looks like Appleton has ruled himself out. For me he was on the next rung down from Cook [who is on the same rung as Neil]. Going further down you next come to Ryan Lowe but hey, for sentimentality,  how about Mark Cooper at Forest Green
