Makes you wonder why we've not approached him again over the years, for various roles (maybe we have). That said, a few years back, I did pose the question to him myself and he said no to coming back. Maybe he enjoys his esteemed status in Bristol and does not wish to change that. Pearson and Jordan would be far too much for the faint hearts around Ashton Gate/Failand in any case.

I remember him squaring up to one of the opposition players a few years back in the the Champions League I think. I don't even remember the club he was coaching at. Quality.

Last time i seen joe was on a train, and he had been working, at the watford man utd game in some way.

It was around the time we were in for andre gray, because he said, hes one to watch at his level.

Him and Terry cooper were cut from the same cloth, wouldnt dream of ignoring someone.
