Quite right.

I know it’s boring and that posters love to thrive on speculation and rumour but remains just that until it’s announced on the OS.

Just leave us to it @Robbored, some people are on furlough/lockdown and need some normality. This is normality for some clubs, the fun of choosing a new manager every 6 months, at least we are in line with them now rather than all this long term project stuff!

Who on here said they didn't like drones? From wikipedia...

Derby County

After a year out of football, Pearson was appointed manager of Championship team Derby County on a three-year contract on 27 May 2016. On 27 September 2016, Pearson was suspended by the club pending an internal investigation following a row with owner Mel Morris. It was later claimed that the row began with Pearson's objection to Morris's use of drones to observe training sessions. Pearson left the club by mutual consent on 8 October 2016, with Derby 20th in the Championship

Intent if this is true, but not getting carried away.....yet!!

If it is true, then hopefully a longer term contract happens once we've started climbing the table.

This bunch won't know what's hit them if Pearson turns up :laughcont:

Earlier in this or the candidates poll I suggested exactly this. It's a save face for Ashton since he has SL's backing, publicly at least, and short followed by longer term is an ideal scenario for all parties.

Pearson is a superb manager. All one needs to know.
