Do people really think play should have been stopped then?

For my mind Hunt was being a bit of a pussy, play quite rightly allowed to go on.

No and he was a pussy but I've seen the flag go up loads for head injuries.

Unlucky Bentley, he hasn't been in the best form for 2 or 3 games now (a bit flappy) but hope he comes back strong

Unsure what games you were watching

Feel for Bentley, has been great all season but that might be worse than anything James did here.

My one concern of Bentley is despite being a great shot stopper he never actually catches and holds the ball, and that has led to that goal.

Got away with parrying one down towards the 6 yard box first half.

Shame as that was a good first half for me, sussed Bournemouth out quite quick.

Teams have been deliberatey faking head injuries especially when under pressure. Could well be ref thought he was trying it on who knows.

Seems we aren't one who get rub of green from officials- would happen to us eh. 🤷‍♂️

Very first time we encounter VAR, a shot at the QF is decided by it- against us.

Mm, Bents touched him, wonder if it was pre-planned for him to go down. End of half, "head injury" stoppage to disrupt their attack. Maybe it was well done for the clearance, but the attack wasn't over so bit odd to do that. Not saying it is, just a possibility. We'll see if he goes off at half time!

Anyway, Bentley can't lose concentration like that, hope it's just a one off and not the start of another really bad run of form. Kinda hoped/thought he had cut it out because he's been so good this year for so long.

What a player down on the floor in the middle of active play 3 yards from the goal line with a potential head injury...um, yes, play should have stopped.

Oh dear. One step forward two steps back. Let’s hope we can comeback in second 45

An individual error two steps back, after the last couple of games/weeks we’ve had... yeah O.K...🙄🙄

What even the one that James punched into his own net from near the penalty spot.

1st half summary:

An enjoyable watch for the neutral.

We made a slow start, good intense press from Bournemouth, but we eventually got through it and played some nice stuff.

Nagy and Bakinson taking it in turns to break forwards to support Fam.

Gutted for the equaliser.  Great first time pass from Lerma for Danjuma for the shot, saved by Bents....then the corner.

Players have shown they can get ahead in this game, time to do it again.

He’s a goalkeeper, he made a mistake and it led to a goal. Surprisingly this happens a lot in football. One of the best two keepers in the country gave Man City TWO goals the other week.......
