BS15_RED
We beat the Gas 4-2 at Trumpton, my favourite ever Bristol derby. Then a year to the day later, we beat them 2-1 in the first ever Bristol derby at the Mem. March 16th has always been a date to remember ever since! BS3City
I've always said how fondly I remember the birth of our two sons, and (most of the time) our wedding day. However, the feeling of just complete and utter overwhelming joy walking out of Trumpton after that win, following what felt like so many years of shit, is genuinely the most euphoric I have ever felt at any point ever in my life, and a feeling that I don't think I'll ever get to experience again. 25 years - wow!!! The first reality check of the Bosnan ruling, it really did sting.

Couldn’t get a ticket for our end for the game at The Memorial, so me & a fellow traveler went in the Blackthorn End, when our first goal went in it was the cue for several fellow Reds in there to think sod this & go absolutely mental celebrating. Hilariously plod decided not to throw them out, but escort them to the away section, which they absolutely milked by giving the fewers several appropriate hand gestures, as well as the royal wave. Attended the 4-2 with the same person & will always be grateful he persuaded me to bother, as I had seen enough horrible defeats there to last a lifetime by then. Ronnie Sinclair
Always love a good penalty save against the vile club - Leaning, Naylor and Phillips spring to mind
OneCity
Looking back on that, Twerton actually looks better than the Memorial. That's how far they've come in 25 years. Oh dear...

Offside
I vividly remember the day we beat them 4-2. I couldn’t get a ticket because of the small capacity in that crummy little ground, so I went into town because I was too nervous to listen on the radio and I feared the Trumpton hoodoo would strike again. I was in a shop and the radio was on, and I heard it was 4-2 and I yelled out “Yesss!!!” The 2-1 victory at AG when Tinman scored the penalty (it was one of his first games for us) was another memorable one, not least because our win virtually sent them down. In the YouTube clip the odious Alexander can be seen feigning injury by clutching his face to try to make out he hadn’t hand-balled it, but thankfully the ref wasn’t fooled by his antics. pearlstreetrob
The 4-2 victory at Trumpton was my Dad's last attendance at a Bristol Derby; his first having been in @ 1938. Although in failing health the win gave him a fantastic lift and he arrived home 'walking on air'. RIP Dad.

Walsheys step over
Forgot what a decent team we had then and junior bent was a flying machine shame he couldn’t finish but shows how real pace can hurt teams
