Dolman_Stand
Are we on course for some sort of record this season? Only 3 draws all season and only 1 in our last 29 league matches, can't say I can remember a City team ever having a season like it.

Sir Geoff
I’m hoping we show a bit of grit tomorrow and gain a draw from a losing position. Think that is what Pearson was alluding to in his press conference yesterday. Obviously hoping we go ahead and keep the lead but otherwise see above. On the other hand the most draws was as recent as 2013/14 at 19 (also in 1999/2000).

Kind of hope we win or lose all the remaining games so that we can have a record breaking season in one way at least.

BanburyRed
Convert half the numbers of losses into draws and we'd be right on the fringe of the play offs....but sadly gone for another year. Let's just storm the league next year with a record number of wins instead!
Alessandro
Not had a draw for, what, 26 games? Must be some sort of record.

FForbes
Between 16/01/1904 and 07/01/1905 there was a run of 36 matches without a draw (which included 1 FA Cup match), almost a full calendar year !
Davefevs
23 wins and 23 losses gets you 69 points, 1 point less than our best season back in the Champ! Bonkers!

Equally ,as I have written many times , you could, hypothetically, go through the season unbeaten but drawing every match and most likely end up relegated. Before that 1959 -60 and 1910-11 five. The best was 1904-05 with four draws, but we only played 34 games. That same season, Doncaster only had two draws. 18 teams in the division and 15 of them had less than ten draws.

Most of us are happy if we draw two tricky away games but we would be better off winning one and losing one.

This is also true, however, we haven’t held on to win a point or come from behind to earn a point enough. We’ve been at times to easy to turn over. ralphindevon
I guess for a fair comparison you’d have to start at 1981 because before that it was 2 points for a win so slightly different mindset on draws. So as @22A says 1990-91 with 7 would be the lowest so far.
