I'm sure for most of you lot growing up there were only black boots until those Alan Ball white ones appeared (? Hummel). These days they are every colour under the sun. What would you go for? Sounds a bit mercenary but that’s how it is for professional footballers. If I was in the Suburban League, as I was when I was younger, it would depend on the team I payed for. Loved puma kings. Playing Saturdays & sundays they’d last at least two seasons . Favourites were Adidas world cups but only pair I had lasted about 3 months .
