Ivorguy
Without his wins at beginning of season we would be in serious trouble. Thanks, in hindsight, for keeping us up
GrahamC
Yep, that & Wycombe today, effectively deflating Rotherham. I’ve taken the piss out of Wycombe’s ability, I wish we had their spirit.

Fantastic spirit too, they do and will leave it all on the pitch always.

Red_Alligator
I wish DH well, but dont share your enthusiasm for his (early) tenur. The players wanted to play for him, for whatever reason (and many have been suggested). They don't seem as keen under NP (for whatever reason). So it then becomes a question of what happens next. I know where i stand. And it doesn't involve recruiting from within or a friendly chum.....

No they weren’t, 3/4 were poor to put it politely. Coventry - poor throughout, lucky win Stoke - very good from start to finish Wednesday - poor for 70/90 minutes Forest - absolute daylight robbery if it wasn’t for Bentley it could easily have been 6/

Pleased with results but found the performances rather negative. Coventry at Home we got largely dominated. Stoke Away - Good all round performance. Sheff W Home - Was ok, nothing spectacular but got a win. Forest Away - Went 2-0 up and relied on a Bentley masterclass. The bad results were coming based on the very much backs against the wall style we were displaying.

Slightly better? Rotherham managed 23 points in 2016/17, with 5 wins and a -58 GD. They were, and remain, the worst second tier side since 1945. Wycombe have 8 wins and 33 points, and they haven't finished yet.

I think it unlikely they will get to that number, they would need to win 5 and draw 1 of their last 6, & we wouldn’t get another point.

Now we seem to be in a bit of a state of drift and they're still fighting hard, we may actually lose up there.

We won a lot of games this season against the run of play. I couldn't tell you more than 5 games this season we've outplayed the opposition. Maybe you can remind me? It doesn’t remotely matter if you win “against the run of play” or not, the important thing is the win. The Blackburn 0-0 recently was an awful game, I truly couldn’t care less, it was a vital point.
